At the Christmas Worship that took place in December, our Academic Principal Dr. Lidman led all our teachers, students and parents in a reflection prayer for peace, joy, hope and love. We read the following verse –
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
– John 14:27
Our education is grounded in Christian faith. Bible stories, Christian moral principles and music are infused in our day-to-day teaching and learning. Little learners begin the day with Morning Worship. In December, we sang this simple hymn “Whisper A Prayer” which reminds us to keep our faith at all times, for we know God will answer our prayer and prepare the best for us.
We believe that children’s character formation is even more important than the accumulation of vocabulary, skills and capabilities in their early years. I meet each class once a week during Library Time to get to know our students in person, and to teach them respect, gratitude and love through story-telling.
